Ossie Jon-Nwakalo
I use modular systems and color to create a dialogue within a socially constructed space. Utilizing the language of form including order and variation of arrangements, color is translated as progressing through the space, resulting in visual conflict and movement. The use of these systems enhances the viewers experience with the work, as their relationship becomes physical. With the form of color, the work becomes divergent, and disorderly, creating an unconventional rhythm, that is site responsive.
