Alexa Notte
I embrace the creative process itself as a journey, one that allows me to let go of expectations and simply exist within the act of making. It is in this process, not necessarily the final piece, where I find solace and meaning. The act of creation is a form of release—a way to communicate with others beyond words, hoping that my work resonates with those who encounter it. I use art as a means of navigating emotions I struggle to put into words. Though the imagery in my work may not directly reflect my emotions at the moment, the act of creating itself brings me a sense of peace. I embrace the unpredictability of each step, allowing the work to evolve organically, with every mark and decision revealing something new about the world and myself. For me, meaning is embedded in the process of discovery and quiet moments of reflection.
