Scott Schultheis is a mixed media artist and art teacher. His studio practice concentrates in narrative painting and installation, and explores how visual metaphor can poetically engage with unstable social and emotional forces. He holds an MFA from PAFA in Philadelphia and has been an art educator since 2011, working with diverse groups of students across community centers, museums, and schools. His teaching has ranged from large scale community projects, to one on one painting classes. Most recently, he returned to Temple University to get K-12 Certified in Pennsylvania, to teach Middle and High School students full time in the Philadelphia School District.
