Art Therapy ‘24
My art explores the depths of identity, culture, and diverse modes of creation. While my focus is primarily on painting, I delight in experimenting with ceramics, photography, and found materials. My work is infused with natural elements like plants and the human figure, using color to evoke emotions. It is designed to convey a narrative and spark meaningful conversations based on my unique perspective of the world. As an artist and art therapy student, I strive to illuminate the nuances of life that unite us and inspire our growth through our individual journeys.

Crystal Arthur
I am a Liberian American artist based in Philadelphia. My passion for the arts and mental health led me to pursue a degree in art therapy. I primarily work with oil and acrylic mediums, but I also create some ceramic and mixed-media pieces. My main motivation is to produce meaningful work that contributes to a better world for myself and for the people whose lives I touch.
