Day One Through 17

Shay Summers

Inspired by constructing meaning from the abstract. The textures and imagery that the brain constructs in search for meaning is automatic. The psychological connection we make to images is innate. These images resemble things seen in the natural world. This work references plants, landscapes, and abstract human form. This work explores psychological escapism
which strays away from urbanization and realism through the use of ink tests.
