Dermatillomania

Charlotte Day-Smith

Dermatillomania is a condition related to obsessive-compulsive disorder. It is characterized by repeated picking at ones own skin, resulting in skin lesions and causing significant disruption to one’s life. This video documents my attempt to better understand my experience with this condition by using objects and materials as surrogates for my own body.
