Hayden Rogers

My body of work is a reflection of my ongoing journey to unpack and express the multi-faceted nature of identity. As a disabled trans-masculine artist, I am drawn to the complexities of spirituality, sexuality, gender, and disability - spaces where identities can shift, overlap and can reveal deeper truths about ourselves. Through religious imagery, I explore the tension between tradition and transformation, using familiar symbols in unusual ways to question societal expectations and open space for new narratives. Creating art allows me to honor the sacred, the person, and the pleasurable, offering a space for introspection, tension, and meaningful connection.
