Torn Pages, 2021. Monotype Animation

This animation depicts the idea of someone ripping pages out of an already written book rather than picking up a different story to read. I have found this metaphor very present in my life, and many people choose to change an already written concept instead of creating their own in many facets of their lives.

TYL Printmaking and Art Education ‘21

@kyralynn_art

Kyra Panchison is a traditional artist who resides in the suburbs northeast of Philadelphia, PA. She completed her Associates of Fine Arts at Bucks County Community College in 2018, and moved onto Tyler School of Art to complete her BFA in Printmaking with Art Education in 2021. Her art frequents themes showcasing admiration of the hand and her religious journey throughout her life. It is her professional goal to use her knowledge of printmaking and reintegrate that art form into the lives of young students and artists. She is presently spending her time accumulating as many skillsets and mediums as possible to use in her creative space by taking workshops and working small jobs. She hopes to combine her love of printmaking and other art media to reinvent what an art curriculum could look like in a self-titled studio space.
