Liv Tempesta is a senior art therapy major with a community arts concentration at Tyler School of Art. Liv’s work throughout her time with the community arts department focuses on intersectional, trauma-informed care specifically to heal generational trauma. Liv’s own therapeutic practices, seen through their artwork, heal their lineage of disparities between their identities as a LGBT+, disabled, Italian American. Liv strives to offer marginalized communities the same accessible resiliency and security that art serves for her. After their time at Temple University, Liv hopes to continue their lifelong journey of practicing and preaching the process of healing through art and social justice.
