My recent work deals with an exploration of memories through many different avenues of art. I am interested in rediscovering my own early childhood tendencies and investigating how they have differed as I’ve grown up. Through this work I represent feeling and connect with myself while navigating the brutally honest but imaginative world I once lived in. Often times my own voice is portrayed through a series of characters I invented. As I've grown up I realized there’s a lot of overthinking and indecisiveness to the artistic choices that I make. In my practice now, I aim to just do and to think less. I typically work in acrylic and label myself a painter, but I explore any medium that works for me as I engage in specific projects.
