Why did I invite Isabella Nurigiani?

I have known Isabella Nurigiani for a long time. Perhaps she was one of my first Italian artist friends when I came here, and we exhibited a lot at a particular time. I always liked her work even though we work very differently. In the last years, Isabella dedicated much of her time to stone sculpture and lives even a part of the year in Pietra Santa. Something that connects us because Pietra Santa is a sort of paradise for sculptors, and I was there very often some time ago. So I thought this exhibition was an excellent opportunity to do something together again. Preparing for the show, we discovered our shared love for trees, and this is our common theme, which we tackle in very different ways.
