Art Therapy, ‘20
Tyler School of Art and Architecture

I am interested in the in between of emotions that rise when someone experiences the first steps towards recovery. The psychology of changing previous behaviors and what that looks like when combined with art. A lot of my work is a reflection of what my experiences look like, which means analyzing and processing recovery.

Recovery comes in many forms. My art is not intended to be happy all the time, but more so as honest as I can be. This process can draw emotions that are similar out of us, and that is where compassion and empathy must meet in recovery.

I am an art therapy major at Tyler School of art currently living in Philadelphia. Originally I am from New Jersey which is where I was raised.

My main form of art tends to be painting and embroidery. My most used medium that I have been working with is definitely embroidery. I love the tactility of embroidery and fibers work in general.

When I'm not creating art or completing school work I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, reading comics, and practicing pole dancing, as a beginner of course. Also I love cats, I have my own and she is a demon.
