This work is part of a drawing series that explores the idea of conversations held over drinks from a singular perspective. Through these drawings complex subjects coming out in casual conversation are explored. As a result of the pandemic causal conversation has diminished, and the way we form narratives, talking points, and connections with other people has changed drastically. This drawing explore ideas of socialization, entertainment, industry, and location trough the depiction of a mom-and-pop movie theater. What does a post-pandemic United States look like, how will things reshape and reform, and what will be removed as a result?

From a town defined by the 49th parallel and directly on the Canadian-American border, my experiences as a first generation immigrant that has lived throughout the United States are shown in the outsider perspectives of my work. My art is fueled by a realistic view from, and of, my generation. In living in a variety of places the impact upon unique aspects of these locations has translated into my art. This manifests in my focus upon imagery like the highway structures of Texas, coastal and farm imagery inspired by my home town, or the emphasis seen in my urban landscape works of Philadelphia.
