This piece was inspired by the sunset by Tyler. As my time sets here, Id like to look back at this body of work that shows a closure to a set of old work made in a crazy year, and an opening to a new beginning.

Ossie Jon-Nwakalo was born in Albany on Nov. 5, 1996. He graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with his associate’s degree in 2016 and earned his BA at the University at Albany in 2018. He currently goes to Tyler School of Art and Architecture in Philadelphia for his MFA and will be graduating in spring of next year.
