Grace Prachar
My work explores the process of art making more than the actual finished product. I make art for the process, it is a therapeutic process for me. My art is created to get people to think about the process and the importance of that process. I want people to see and understand how art-making can be therapeutic through the art I have created. I like creating simple art pieces, this is what makes me feel the best when I am creating. I do not want art-making to be stressful for me, and that is why I focus on the simplicity aspect. I tend not to focus on one single medium either, I like to try new things.

Art Therapy ‘23
My name is Grace Prachar, and I was born in Chicago, but grew up outside of Philadelphia. I am an Art Therapy major with a Spanish minor at Temple University. My favorite art to create is photography, and I have been taking photos since I was young. I hope to use my knowledge in art to become an Art Therapist after graduating school.
