Mia Stavarski

My works are reflections of my reality in relation to the world around me, a search for meaning of the intrapersonal and interpersonal. Through the creative process, I use tangible subject matter from my life in relation to the intangible complexities of society. The world and the mind are incredibly complex, and through the communication of art, I realized that those around me have differing pasts that influence the interpretation of my pieces. However, my goal is to have the viewers, and myself, step away from my work with a better understanding of the psyche, but also a better understanding of the world.
